Good South Indian Food

Lovely dosas and idlis and upmas etc. They also serve the best filter coffee in a restaurant in Gujarat. Sankalp is all over Gujarat and the best place to grab a bite when traveling around the State and not sure where to eat. They maintain their standards across the State.

Really a world class restaurant

The first & fore most specialty about this restaurant is that it has got the Guinness Book of World Record for making longest dosa in the World. They have done this miracle twice. First they had the record of making 28 foot dosa & the second time they did it, it was 30 foot long. Apart from the records they really have great taste & ambiance is absolutely world class.

Outstanding food in Southern dishes

The restaurant chain serves best southern dishes in the city. The best part of their food is the curry (Sambhar) which has some kind of unique taste and i would say that you will not found that same taste in the city.

Record holders for the longest served dosa

My favorite dosa place. Got 3 of them in about a 5-km radius to my place. Favorites are rava-masala and mysore-masala. Paan served as a mouth-freshener is also a crowd favorite.

Love South Indian food...... Need to visit this place

Loved the dosa and utpam platter..... Sambhar and the various chutneys are just too good..... you are missing something great if you have not visited this place :-)

We enjoyed sankalp’s vegetarian- south indian food.

Our stay in ahmedabad was made more interesting because we could at least have nice south indian- rava dosas, and idlis in this bustling capital. We visited the swaminarayan temple in gandhinagar and found it very beautiful and awe-inspiring. Sankalp has a branch in dubai too.
